They were contacted by Dansk Værktøjs Agentur, an import and export company that needed a solution for their warehouse.

Dansk Værktøjs Agentur contacted PCgo after learning about the Kalipso Studio Voice Edition features which include Google voice recognition. They wanted to pick lines on their warehouse but did not want to use expensive barcode reader terminals.
Thanks to the fast development environment provided by Kalipso, PCgo was able to build a demo already connected with an SQL server in the very first meeting with the customer.
The final project proved itself just as useful as expected. In a warehouse with 5000 different items, the system and the worker communicate by voice, while using other features that allow, for example, to locate where a certain item is. This data is then integrated with an ERP so that it can be updated in real time. All this will not only optimize stock picking, but will also minimize errors and, therefore, complaints.
By using Kalipso Studio to develop this project, PCgo was able to integrate a voice system in the app using Google services. The fact that they used native voice recognition happened to be a key factor, as the customer could use regular Android smartphones for all 15 workers at a time, instead of using more expensive hardware terminals.
Dansk Værktøjs Agentur got 15% more efficiency in picking and packing 6 months after implementing this software. That means a saving of more than 2 workers to do the same tasks.
Other big advantage is how this solution can be continuously adapted, providing flexibility and scalability. By being a development tool faster than usual, Kalipso Studio plays a key role here.
